Version VII

This layout was made by both me and my boyfriend, Tony. (The sucky parts of the layout are mine). I pretty much made the main part of the layout, although he Googled a love letter image for the background, because he seems to enjoy having those types of backgrounds. All the effects of the layout were made by him, because he is so much better than I am at Photoshop. Shortly after the main image was made, he rebooted his computer and didn't reinstall Photoshop, so that's why the word 'Memoirs' doesn't really match =/ I coded the site.

... to Memoirs, a blog created by me, Catherine, as a place where I can post my rants, thoughts, and whatever else goes through my head. Read on to find out more about me and so on.

Laziness ...

Boy have I been lazy lately. Summer school has been wearing me out like crazy. It's only one course, but we learn everything so quickly and there's so much to understand and a ton of homework and there are tests every week.

However, in between there, I've managed to go out a few times =) Last week, my boyfriend and I went to the beach and borrowed our friend's camera and took some pictures, which weren't too bad. Then, we went to the mall yesterday and I got a hair cut and he bought me make up, haha. We were with a friend and I've never worn make up before. But we were in the food court and I was trying to put on eye liner (which has always scared me) and our friend was laughing at me, because I had no idea how to do it =/

Anyway, I have a test on Tuesday on solubility and I really have to study. Too bad I can't get myself to do it =( And I have a new affiliate, Jenn, so go check out her site =)

Summer =)

Sorry about not updating in a while. I just rebooted my computer yesterday - well, my boyfriend rebooted it for me, because I don't know how. But it's so much better now =)

I started summer school a week ago and it hasn't been too bad. I just had my first test today (on kinetics) and it was fairly easy. Hopefully, Chemistry 12 will stay that way =D

In my last post, I complained about how I didn't get an award for my hard work this year. Turns out I actually did get one. Apparently, the school tried calling me, but I didn't know and my name was called at the Awards Night. When I went to pick up my report card, I found out that I received a plaque and a certificate. So, I'm sorry for getting mad =(

well, summer's been okay lately. The weather's been really really nice. Nothing interesting has exactly happened, so I think I'm going to end my post here. Have a fun summer =)

Worked my butt off - for what?

As of yesterday, my summer has officially started =) I wrote my two Provincial Exams yesterday and, now, I can relax until July 2nd when I start summer school - Chemistry 12 =/ It really sucks, because I didn't even plan on taking anything in summer school, but there was a scheduling conflict for my time table next year and I had to choose between Chem 12 and Band 12.

All this year, I've worked hard to maintain my grades, but for what? I didn't even get a letter inviting me to Awards Night next Tuesday. I thought I would've at least gotten the 4.0 Award (Straight A's), but nope. I know I'm being selfish, but it seems weird that I didn't get one. I don't know. Maybe they didn't feel like giving me one?

So, my computer is acting DUMB and I have to reboot it soon. Apparently, there are viruses or something on it. The only thing that's going to suck is all my display pictures for my MSN will be erased =( Whoever came up with the idea of creating viruses deserves a real hard kick in the butt >=(
