Creation
Memoirs was created sometime in May of 2006, but it wasn't online until June 18th 2006. I used to own a site, Frozen Rakuen, which was an Inuyasha fansite that I really adored. However, after nine months, I decided to close the site down. Memoirs was born, because I got bored of doing nothing on the computer and I didn't know what kind of site to open up, so I decided to make a blog.

The name
The name, Memoirs, was given to me by my friend, Betsy. We were going to go with a bunch of other names (Japanese ones), but we decided to use this one, because we thought it sounded best out of all the others we took into consideration.

Hosting
At first, Memoirs was hosted by Silent Cross in a folder of a subdomain of a fanlisting and collective site Betsy and I were working on. But, after some time, I decided to be hosted elsewhere, because I thought it was weird to be hosted in a folder. Remembering that my friend, Teddy, had offered to host me before, I decided to apply at her new domain [she and I were first friends when we were affiliates for my first site]. I applied, was accepted, hosted at one of her domains, 1000Nokotoba. Now, I am hosted at Twilight-melody.org

Layouts
Although I created most of the layouts for this blog, there are several people that have certainly helped me as well, including Betsy, Tony <3, and Kokoro. Most of the inspirations from my layouts come from other layouts I've seen around on the Internet or just sort of what I'm in the mood for. Versions I, II, III, IV, V, and VI.

The actual blog
I know most bloggers write about philosophical stuff and things that really move others, but I'm not really that sort of person. Sometimes, I do get ideas of what to blog, but I never actually post them, because I tend to forget when I'm at the computer. So, I mostly write about my week and what's upcoming and basically my life, which is quite boring.
